Loud Music Leads to Apartment Fight That Leaves Three Hospitalized

A request by a resident of a southwest side apartment complex to a neighbor to turn down his loud music at 12:30 AM today led to a free-for-all that left three people in the hospital, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police say after the man knocked on the door of the apartment below his at the Winston Square Apartments in the 2500 block of South Gen. McMullen and asked the resident to turn down the music, the resident was so outraged, he stormed up to the guy's apartment and started beating him on the head with a crowbar.

The apartment resident then pulled a knife and stabbed loud music guy in the chest.

In the midst of all this a woman fell twenty feet off a second story balcony.

All three are hospitalized, and police are trying to determine just who should be charged with what.
