"I've seen fire and I've seen rain."
The lyrics to James Taylor's 1971 classic could be the sound track to the San Antonio weather forecast, thanks to a complicated weather pattern leading to a conflicting forecast for Friday and Saturday.
Forecasters say severe thunderstorms are possible along and east of the I-35 corridor Friday afternoon. These storms could bring damaging hail and strong, gusty winds.
Unless it doesn't.
At the same time, the NWS has issued a severe fire weather threat warning for along and west of the I-35 corridor.
Forecasters say if no rain falls, those same gusty winds will lead to a threat of wildfires.
And, oh, yes, we could also see tornadoes.
