Guitarist Lindsey Buckingham is out of Fleetwood Mac. A statement from the band says Buckingham won't be joining the band and wishes him the best. There's no word on what led the band to choose to go on the road without its longtime lead guitarist. Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers will join the group, along with Neil Finn of Crowded House. Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood said the band has chemistry with Finn and Campbell, and the result is new, but the sound is still unmistakably Fleetwood Mac.
