San Antonio Police and the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force wasted no time apprehending a suspect in connection with a grisly murder on the city's southwest side Saturday night, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police Officer Doug Greene says 31 year old Vincent Foster was gunned down inside an apartment in the 2000 block of South Zarzamora.

"It is our understanding that several individuals were in that apartment complex prior to the shooting," Greene told News Radio 1200 WOAI.  "It is our understanding that there is some sort of verbal altercation, and that is when Mr. Fisher was shot multiple times."

Moises Morales, 44, was arrested at his taxpayer supported apartment in the San Juan Homes on the city's west side early today.

Greene says the Task Force followed leads all week to direct them to the suspect. Morales is being booked into the Bexar County Jail on a murder charge.
