Spieth Leads Masters By Two Shots, Woods At Plus-One

Jordan Spieth

Jordan Spieth is atop the  leaderboard after the first round of The Masters.  He shot a six-under  66 on Thursday at Augusta National, two shots clear of Tony Finau and Matt Kuchar.  Rory McIlroy is among seven golfers three shots off the pace at minus-three.   Phil Mickelson is at two-under.  Playing his first Masters in three  years, 14-time major champion Tiger Woods opened with a one-over 73.   He's a four-time Masters winner, but his last green jacket was in 2005.   Defending champ Sergio Garcia had five balls roll off the green into  the water on the 15th hole, shooting an eight-over 13 on that one hole.   He finished his round at nine-over 81.
