A woman in her fifties is in critical condition after her car was T-boned overnight by a vehicle that was being driven by her own daughter, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the car driven by the mother pulled out of the Walmart on Walzem Rd. on the northeast side without stopping at the stop sign, and was hit by a red pickup truck driven by her 17 year old daughter.
The older woman was trapped in her mangled car for ten minutes as EMS crews struggled to cut her out of the wreckage. She was rushed to SAMMC in critical condition with multiple injuries.
The daughter was not hurt. No word on whether charges will be filed.
