Kansas Holds Off Clemson To Reach Elite Eight

The top-seeded Kansas Jayhawks are headed to the Elite Eight for the third straight year.  The Jayhawks never trailed and led  by 13 at the half as they held on for an 80-76 win over fifth-seeded  Clemson in the Midwest Region semifinals in Omaha.  Malik Newman netted  17 points and Devonte Graham scored 16 for Kansas, which improved to  30-and-7 on the season.  The Jayhawks will face either Duke or Syracuse  on Sunday with a trip to the Final Four on the line.  Gabe DeVoe dropped  in a game-high 31 points for the Tigers, who end the year 25-and-10.
