San Antonio Police are urging parents to keep an eye on the text messages their kids are receiving following a creepy arrest, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The mother of a 12 year old girl discovered her child was receiving 'sexually explicit messages' on her phone.
The suspect, Louis Almendarez, 44, stressed to the little girl the need to keep the messages and a meeting between the two that he was trying to set up 'a secret.'
But fortunately, the alert mom notified police in time, and Almendarez was arrested literally at the front door of the girl's home, when he arrived after midnight for what he hoped would be a sexual encounter with the 12 year old.
He is charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor. The girl was not hurt.
