Feds: No Motive Yet In Texas Bombings

Bombing

Federal investigators are still unsure about a motive in the series of bombings in Texas.  The ATF says it's too soon to speculate why Mark Conditt placed the explosives across Austin, killing two people and injuring several others.  Investigators are also trying to figure out if any of Conditt's roommates knew about his plot, but said no arrests have been made.  Several homemade explosives were found inside Conditt's home, but all have been removed.  The ATF says they're analyzing Internet searches and books to figure out how Conditt learned how to make bombs.  The area around Conditt's Pflugerville home is still evacuated, and it isn't known when a perimeter will be cleared.  Conditt took his own life this morning during a chase just hours after a warrant was issued for his arrest.  The feds believe no other parcel bombs are in circulation, but want people to stay alert and report any suspicious packages.
