LaMarcus Aldridge went off for 39 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Spurs to a 117-101 win over the Timberwolves at the AT&T Center. Rudy Gay added 14 off the bench as San Antonio won three straight. The Spurs, Minnesota and Jazz are all tied for the fifth-seed in the Western Conference with 40-and-30 records. Karl-Anthony Towns tallied 23 points and nine rebounds, while Andrew Wiggins chipped in 21 in the loss. They were the only two T'wolves players in double figures as they had a two-game winning streak come to an end.
