A woman in her thirties and an 11 year old girl were found beaten to death this morning in a home on the citys northwest side, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police Chief William McManus said the man who reported the crime said he did it.
McManus said the man, in his early fifties, said he had hit the victims with a hand tool.
Both victims were dead by the time police arrived at the home on Beaudine St, off Gilbeau Road. Both bodies were found in a bathroom.
He said the man is the boyfriend of the woman. He is being questioned by detectives. He wasnt certain about the relationship between the woman and the little girl.
