Police who got an anonymous call to a northwest side apartment early Saturday found a horrific sight when they entered---three people passed out on the floor from drug overdoses.
Police told News Radio 1200 WOAI that when they entered the room at the Oakgate Apartments in the 3500 block of Oakgate Street, which is near Vance Jackson and Wurzbach, two men and a woman, all in their early twenties, were sprawled on the floor.
EMS was rushed to the scene, but one of the young men was already dead.. The other man and the woman were rushed to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
The Medical Examiner will determine just what drug the three overdosed on.. Police will investigate whether it was a simple overdose, or if the drugs may have been tampered with.
