Lonzo Ball nearly notched a triple-double as the Lakers upended the Spurs 116-112 in San Antonio. Ball finished with 18 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds, while also knocking down a career-best six three-pointers for Los Angeles. Julius Randle scored a game-high 25 points and Isaiah Thomas added 21 off the bench for the Lakers, who have won five in-a-row. Pau Gasol paced the Spurs with 19 points and 10 rebounds. San Antonio has dropped eight of its last 10 to fall to 36-and-27.
