Its not too early to start thinking about summertime, as Six Flags Fiesta Texas opens today for its 2018 season, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
"It'll be this weekend that we will be open, and then we will be open daily for Spring Break, March 10 through 18th, then we revert back to weekends, and then we go to our daily summer operation beginning on May 18th," the park's Sydne Purvis said.
She says the big new attraction for this summer, the Wonder Woman roller coaster, which is a first of its kind for the monorail track and which enables unique turns and drops, will be open next month.
"We are actually open daily, March 10 through 18th for Spring Break, and you will actually be able to enjoy our band new Wonder Woman Golden Lasso coaster then as well."
But Purvis says that doesn't mean that brand new attractions aren't open today.
"On opening day, you'll be able to see a brand new show, Vibe 2018, that will be in our Teatro Fiesta Theater."
