Amazon is working on a ten-thousand-year clock. Founder and CEO Jeff Bezos revealed video of  the huge project today that's being built inside a West Texas mountain.  In a tweet, Bezos said installation has begun on the  500-foot-tall mechanical clock that's designed to tick just once a  year.  According to the post, the clock has been in the works for nearly  three decades and is the brainchild of inventor Danny Hillis.  It's  powered by daily thermal cycles and synchronized at solar noon.  Bezos  called it "a special clock, designed to be a symbol, an icon for  long-term thinking."
