Austin Dillon took the lead on the  final lap and pulled away with the checkered flag at the 60th running of  the Daytona 500.  Dillon, driving the number-three car, bumped Aric Almirola out of the way for the win 20 years after Dale Earnhardt Senior  won the famous race in the three-car at Dayton International Speedway   Dillon only led one lap the entire race but made it count for his second  Monster Energy Cup win.  Darrell Wallace Junior finished in second, and  Denny Hamlin took third.  Joey Logano and Chris Buescher rounded out  the top five.  With two laps left, a big crash knocked Ryan Blaney, Kurt  Busch and others out of contention.  Danica Patrick ended her NASCAR career with a crash on lap 102.  She announced last year that this race would be her final in NASCAR.
