The Kendall County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of an early morning mobile home fire that left one person dead and two others critically burned, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Officials say the fire took place on Bluebonnet Street, which is just east of I-10 near the Cascade Caverns exit southeast of Boerne. Crews say the mobile home was fully engulfed in flames when the first Kendall County Fire crews arrived. They were assisted by units from Fair Oaks Ranch.
Crews battled in the dry, brushy conditions to keep the flames from spreading.
