'Grab of the Buttocks' Led to Murder

Bexar County prosecutors say a man was murdered last year because the victim 'grabbed the suspects buttocks,' News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

An indictment handed down today charges Mark Daniel Lewis, 19, with manslaughter in the April 19th 2017 death of Kenne McFadden, whose body was found floating in the San Antonio Riverwalk between Houston and Commerce Streets in the heart of downtown.

Police say Lewis and McFadden were acquaintences, and Lewis was helping McFadden navigate his way down the sidewalk along the river because McFadden was 'highly intoxicated.'

As McFadden was leaning on Lewis for support, the indictment says 'McFadden grabbed his buttocks and made an offensive remark.'

After hearing the remark, Lewis "pushed McFadden into the river and left him there, without making any attempts to check if he was able to swim or exit the river due to his level of intoxication."

Lewis claimed he didn't know anything about McFadden's murder until he 'read it on Facebook

.Manslaughter is a second degree felony punishable by 2-20 years in prison.
