A driver was killed overnight on Loop 1604 near Bandera Rd, News Radio 1200 reports.
Police say a driver was westbound on Loop 1604 near Hausman when he was involved in a minor wreck.
But the driver failed to stop, and instead sped away and headed toward Bandera Rd.
While in a haste to get away from the wreck, the man drove onto the shoulder, and then skidded into the median where he slammed into a parked piece of construction equipment.
He was killed instantly.
