A San Antonio Police Officer has been arrested for shoplifting from INgram Park Mall, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Officer Stephanie Solis, a nine year veteran of the SAPD, was stopped by a store security guard walking out of a store with 'merchandise in her purse' that she hadn't paid for.
She was off duty and not in uniform at the time.
She is charged with Theft $100- $750, a Class B Misdemeanor.
"She will be placed on administrative leave pending further investigation, the SAPD said in a statement. "The theft case will be submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for review and an Internal Affairs investigation into this incident is already underway."
