Sheriff's Detectives are looking for a lone suspect in an overnight shooting that left one man dead, and another clinging to life, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Deputis say a man knocked at the door of a home in the 24000 block of Invitation Oaks, which is in Bulverde Village, not far from the Marriott TPC Resort.
As soon as the man gained entry to the home, he pulled a handgun and, in the words of a deputy, 'just started shooting.'
Two men were in the home at the time. One was killed instantly, the other was rushed to the hospital with potentially life threatening wounds.
The gunman sped away.
Detectives say the incident is 'definitely not' a random shooting, and they are trying to determine the connection between the gunman and the victims.
