Two people died early today in car wrecks on separate sides of the city, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say a man who was apparently speeding down Foster Road in Kirby missed a turn and slammed into a fence. He was thrown from the car and his body slammed into the fence.
About 2AM a man was killed on Loop 1604 just west of I-10. Police say he drove off the road near La Cantera Parkway, hit a drainage culvert, and flipped over.
The cause of the second accident is unclear. Both drivers were alone in their vehicles.
