A San Antonio Police Officer was seriously hurt early today when he was hit by a car on the city's northeast side, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say Officer David Mahula was off duty and was riding his motorcycle at Nacogdoches and Toepperwein about 1AM, when an SUV making a left turn ran into him.
Officer Mahula was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver that hit the officer was not speeding and was not intoxicated. He is being questioned by detectives and its unclear whether charges will be filed.
