The Milken Institute released its annual ranking of the Best Performing Cities and San Antonio-New Braunfels comes in at the #19 Spot in the top 200 Large Cities List. That is a 5 spot jump over 2016.
Key components of the ranking include Job Growth, Wage and Salary Growth, Short-term job growth, High-tech GDP Growth among other factors and a weighting formula.

3. Dallas-Plano-Irving, TX
4. San Francisco-Redwood City - South San Francisco, CA
5. Fort Collins, CO
6. North Port-Sarasota- Bradenton, FL
7. Orlando-Kissimmee-Sanford, FL
8. Nashville-Davidson-Murfreesboro-Franklin, TN
9. Austin-Round Rock, TX
10. Salt Lake City, UT
