Johnny Manziel looks to be returning to Johnny Football. ESPN reports that the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League have offered Manziel a contract. Hamilton has owned Manziel's CFL rights for multiple years, but now appears closer than ever to signing the former Heisman Trophy winner. Manziel last played professionally for the Cleveland Browns in 2015. Inconsistent play, alleged substance abuse, legal issues, and clashes with the Cleveland's front office led to his departure from the Browns and the NFL. He won the Heisman Trophy in 2012 as a redshirt freshman at Texas A&M.
