Jerry Van Dyke is dead at 86. TMZ quotes his wife Shirley as saying the younger brother of Dick Van Dyke passed away yesterday at their Arkansas ranch at the age of 86. She added Jerry's health deteriorated after they were involved in a car accident two years ago. Jerry became a popular stand-up comedian, talk show guest and TV sitcom star. He earned four Emmy nomination for portraying assistant coach Luther Van Dam in the 1990s sitcom "Coach" starring Craig T. Nelson.
