-----

...Strong Cold Front Expected Sunday......

Hard Freezes Monday-Wednesday......

Slight Chance of Freezing Drizzle Sunday Night into Monday Morning...

Timing and Overview:

A strong cold front with arctic air will move into South Central Texas on Sunday. Strong north winds and cold temperatures will result in blustery conditions New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

There is a slight chance that freezing drizzle could develop behind the cold front New Year's Eve night into New Year's Day morning. Chances in the freezing drizzle occurring is currently low, but non-zero.

Also, hard freezes are expected to occur across portions of the area Monday through Wednesday mornings of next week.

We will send another update Friday as confidence and details in the specifics increase.
