A man in his twenties was found shot to death in the front yard of a home on the city's northwest side News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police were called to the 7200 block of Marble Creek, which is off Timberhill Dr.. When they arrived they found the victim dead on the lawn, two slugs in his chest.
Police say they think the homeowner and the dead man are acquainted, but they don't know what the motive for the shooting may be.. One neighbor told 1200 WOAI they are looking into the possibility that the shooting was sparked by a bungled home invasion.
The homeowner was taken to police headquarters to be questioned.
