Two people were found shot to death inside a northwest side home this afternoon, in what police say was a murder-suicide, officers tell 1200 WOAI news.
A 14 year old boy called police to say he had heard gunfire in his mother's bedroom at his home on Sunset Glade, which is near the Medical Center.
The teen found the bodies of his mother and a man believed to be her boyfriend inside the bedroom.
The Medical Examiner will make the final ruling, but police suspect the man, 48, shot the woman, 46, in the head and then shot himself in the head.
Relatives said their relationship was 'contentious' and the woman had recently asked the man to move out of her home.
Nobody else was hurt and police said the weapon has been recovered.
