A 51 year old woman was critically injured in a hit and run accident that happened in the parking lot of the H-E-B at Goliad and Southwest Military on the city's southeast side overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the woman had pulled into the parking lot when she was t-boned on the driver's side by a large pickup truck.
The pickup driver, who police say clearly knew he had hit somebody, sped out of the parking lot.
The woman suffered multiple injuries and was rushed to SAMMC in extremely critical condition.
She wasn't conscious, so police don't know if there was anybody else in her car at the time.
The pickup driver will face multiple charges when he is arrested.
