AMBER Alert Remains in Effect after Houston Woman Was Murdered

Police in Houston say an AMBER Alert for six week old Shanally Flores remains in place, even though the man they thought may be with the girl was stopped last night in San Antonio, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

The man, who is described in the AMBER Alert as Shanally's father, said he doesn't have the little girl and doesn't know where she is.  He said he also had nothing to do with the murder of the girl's mother.

The 33 year old mother, described as a legal immigrant from Honduras, was found stabbed multiple times in her apartment in the Greenspoint section of north Houston on Tuesday, and the little girl, who witnesses said was in the apartment with her, was missing.

Houston Police say the little girl is in danger and police want to find out here whereabouts.
