Former San Antonio ISD school board trustee Olga Hernandez was acquitted this afternoon on bribery charges, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Hernandez had been accused of taking gifts, including lavish trips and dinners, as well as Spurs tickets, from an insurance broker, in exchange for supporting his efforts to get the district's lucrative contract.
Hernandez claimed that the items she received the items as gifts from a good friend, and said they did not influence any of her decisions on the school board.
