Cowboys edge Raiders, 20-17

Dak Prescott

Dan Bailey kicked the go-ahead field goal with 1:44 left in the game and the Cowboys held on to clip the Raiders 20-17 in Oakland. Bailey's field goal was set up by a  controversial fourth-down conversion in which the referee used a folded piece of paper to confirm the measurement.

Jeff Heath forced Oakland quarterback Derek Carr to fumble through the end zone on the final drive  to seal the victory.

Dak Prescott and Rod Smith had rushing scores as  the Cowboys improved to 8-and-6.  Carr tossed two touchdowns before the  crucial goal-line turnover that ended the Raiders' chances.

Oakland fell to 6-and-8.
