It's happened again...a man tried to run across a busy street overnight away from a crosswalk and was killed by a passing car, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
This time a man in his forties was attempted to run across Culebra Road near Benrus, which is just west of St. Mary's University. Police say he was wearing dark clothing and there is no way the driver could see him in time. The driver will not face charges.
As is usually the case, police say a marked crosswalk where the man could have crossed safely was just a couple hundred yards away.
