H-E-B today insured that some 2.9 million Texans will not go hungry over the holidays by donating stacks of Select Ingredients Quick Oats oatmeal to the San Antonio Food Bank for distribution to 17 food banks across the state, NewsRadio 1200 WOAI reports.
"Its the right thing to do," H-E-B's Danny Flores said.
The huge donation comes after H-E-B provided food to hundreds of thousands of residents of the Coastal Bend and southeast Houston who were hit by Hurricane Harvey.
