Freeze Warning in Place--Snow a Possibility for San Antonio

We may not get a white Christmas, but we could see a white December 8th.

News Radio 1200 WOAI reports the National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for the entire region from midnight until 9AM Friday.

Temperatures in the region could fall as low as 25 degrees.. While snow is a possibility, the biggest worry as the skies clear is ice, especially on bridges, during the morning rush hour.

Forecasters say a winter weather advisory is in place for as far south as the Rio Grande Valley.

In fact, the Edinburg and Edcouch Elsa ISDs have already announced late starts for Friday morning due to the possibility of ice or even snow.
