An attempt to sell jewelry to some men they met on line turned into a frightening experience for a couple of teenagers overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the two 15 year olds agreed to meet two men they had contacted through a web site, and who had expressed interest in buying the jewelry.
They agreed to meet late last night in a parking lot off Ahern Street, just south of North Star Mall.But things quickly went south for the two teenagers.
Police say the men who claimed to be buyers then snatched back the money they had give the 15 year olds, and then started shooting.
The two teenagers were taken to University Hospital with non life threatening wounds.The gunmen remain at large.
