Armed Homeowner Halts Northeast Side Home Invasion

An armed homeowner stopped four would-be home invasion bandits in their tracks early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police were called to the 4300 block of Moana, which is near Eisenhauer and Loop 410, about 1AM today where a man was holding an individual for officers.

He told police that he heard his dog barking, and went outside and found four men standing inside his garage.

The homeowner pulled a handgun, prompting three of the four to run off, but he and the fourth man fought and he was able to hold him for police.

No shots were filed, and police are questioning the man the homeowner said was one of the would-be home invaders.
