A man is in critical condition after he was shot in the head inside an east side home overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the man was attending a family event at the home in the 5000 block of Village Court, which is near Eisenhauer and Fratt Roads, when he and a woman went into the bedroom of the home.
Soon a gunshot rang out.
The man was rushed to BAMC in critical condition with a single gunshot wound to the head. The woman told police the shooting was accidental.
Detectives are investigating her claims, and so far, no charges have been filed.
