Texas A&M has accepted an invitation to the Belk Bowl in Charlotte and will face off against Wake Forest of the Atlantic Coast Conference in Bank of America Stadium on Friday, Dec. 29.

The Aggies (7-5) will be seeking to win its fifth bowl game in the last seven tries when they face the Demon Deacons (7-5) in the Belk Bowl, which will kick off at 12 noon central (1 p.m. eastern) and be televised nationally by ESPN. It's the ninth straight season that Texas A&M will play in a bowl game, which is a program first.

"We look forward to representing the SEC in the matchup against Wake Forest and look forward to outstanding hospitality from the Belk Bowl and Charlotte, North Carolina," Texas A&M Director of Athletics Scott Woodward said. "We look forward to the 12th Man doing a great job of supporting our team."
