Two teenagers were arrested by San Antonio Police and the Lone Star Task Force overnight in connection with the shocking murder of a 10 year old girl who was watching TV in her home on Thanksgiving morning, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Cody Gann, 18, and Jasmine Cary, 19, were arrested while cowering in a hotel room off I-10 on the city's northwest side.
Delilah Hernandez was killed when she was shot in the chest as she sat in the bedroom of her family home just north of Basse on the near north side Thanksgiving morning.
Police say somebody pulled up and fired several shots into the home. Detectives said the shootings were gang related and the suspect was trying to kill Delilah's older brother.
Gann is charged with murder, and Cary is charged with felony evading arrest. Both are jailed without bond.
