One person is dead and two others are hospitalized after two semi trucks collided on I-35 near Somerset in southwest Bexar County overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
When emergency crews arrived, one of the semis was actually on top of the other. The dead man was pulled from the bottom truck, where he had apparently been crushed to death.
It took hours for crews to untangle the wreckage, forcing the long term closure of I-35.
Neither of the semis was carrying any hazardous materials.
No word yet on what caused the crash.
