The Spurs took over the game in the second quarter and went on to hammer the Hornets, 106-86, in Charlotte. Six Spurs players scored in double-figures, led by 17 from Pau Gasol and LaMarcus Aldridge. Rudy Gay added 15 off the bench. San Antonio led by 11 at halftime and never looked back as it improved to 12-and-7. Kemba Walker keyed Charlotte with 18 points. The Hornets fell to 7-and-3 on their home floor, and 8-and-11 overall.
