The package allegedly mailed to  Obama by  Julia Poff was intercepted by White House security and disarmed, according to court papers obtained by 1200 WOAI news.

But Abbott opened the package sent by Poff to the Governor's Mansion, and prosecutors say the only reason Abbott was not seriously injured or killed was he didnt open the package according to the instructions.

She also allegedly sent an explosive device to the Social Security Administration.

One was Poff was tied to the crime was hair from her cat was found under  the mailing labels.
