SAPD Officer Hurt in NW Side Wreck

An SAPD officer was not seriously hurt when his patrol car was T-boned near the Dominion on the far northwest side overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Police say the officer was patrolling on Stonewall Parkway, which is the extension of Dominion Drive west of I-10, about 12:30 when a woman in her late 20s ignored the stop light and smashed into his patrol car.

The officer, in his 40s, was taken to University Hospital to be checked out.  The woman was being processed for possible DWI.
