A 20 year old man was critically wounded when a family dispute spiraled out of control on the city's west side early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police were called to the 3200 block of Monterrey about midnight on a report of a disturbance.
Officers found a 20 year old man bleeding from multiple stab wounds.
They were told that the two got into an argument and the 20 year old started choking the 15 year old. At that time, the 15 year old's sister emerged with a knife and started stabbing the 20 year old.
He was stabbed eight times, including at least twice in the neck, and was rushed to SAMMC in critical condition.
The 15 year old did not require treatment.
Police took everybody in the house downtown for questioning.
