Mistrial Declared In Texas Trial Of Biker Gang Leader

Waco

It's unknown when the case involving a  biker shootout in Waco will be re-tried.  A judge in Waco, Texas,  declared a mistrial yesterday after jurors deliberated for 14 hours and  were still deadlocked on three charges against the leader of the  "Bandidos" biker gang, Jake Carrizal.  It was the first trial stemming  from the 2015 shootout at a Waco restaurant that left nine people dead  and 18 others wounded.  Carrizal had been charged with two counts of  engaging in organized criminal activity and a charge of directing the  activities of a criminal street gang.
