Just after 11:30AM a gunman entered the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs and opened fire during church service.
Shortly before 1PM Wilson County Sheriff confirmed the shooter was dead after reports of a short police pursuit from Wilson County to Guadalupe County. It is unclear at this time if the gunman was killed by police or a self-inflicted gunshot.
Multiple medical helicopters air lifted victims to local hospitals including Brooke Army Medical Center. At this time there are no updates on the condition of those injured.
The Texas Rangers, FBI and ATF are on the scene investigating where at least 20 were killed.
