The community of Sutherland Springs is mourning the loss of 26 people killed in a church shooting. People gathered this evening across the street from the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs for a candlelight vigil to remember the victims. The church was the site of the deadliest mass shooting in the state's history when a gunman opened fire during a Sunday morning service.
The shooting spree was stopped by a community member who shot at the gunman outside the church. The gunman was found dead a short time later, but it isn't known if he took his own life or was shot by police.
