Texans' Watson Out For Season With Torn ACL

Deshaun Watson

Houston Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson is out for the season with a torn ACL.  Multiple outlets report Watson suffered the injury during practice today and will undergo season-ending surgery.  Watson is tied with Philadelphia's Carson Wentz for the NFL lead with 19 touchdown passes this season and has played in one fewer game.  He has thrown for 1,699 yards, 19 TD's and eight interceptions while adding 269 rushing yards and two more scores for the 3-and-4 Texans.  Houston traded up in April's NFL Draft to take Watson 12th overall out of Clemson.
